7 Days Wonders Of The Migrations In Calving Season

After breakfast at your booked Arusha hotel, your safari guide will pick you up and bring you to Tarangire National Park (around 2 hours). Tarangire is well renowned for its elephant herds, grassland, distinctive baobab trees, seasonal marshes, and the life-giving Tarangire River. Animals congregate beside the river, including giraffes, bushbuck, and hartebeest. The park also has buffalo, zebra, and wildebeest. A variety of predators, including lions, leopards, and, on rare occasions, cheetahs, track these creatures. While in the safari vehicle, you may take in the scenery and observe wildlife from the open roof. You will enjoy a picnic lunch in the park which includes a delicious lunch & soft drink. After a full day in the park, you will drive to your accommodation where you will be able to relax and enjoy dinner and overnight.

Today after a leisurely breakfast, we drive to Ndutu region which is found in the Ngorongoro Conservation area that also connect the southern plain of Serengeti ecosystem. December to March is usually the calving season in the Ndutu area and the southern plains of the Serengeti, it is the best time for safari in this area, as wildebeest, zebra, and other ungulates are so many and give birth to so many calves, the spectacle works as a magnet for predators.  After the game, you will now head towards your accommodation, where a freshly prepared dinner awaits you. Ensure you get some good rest and recharge yourself for another eventful day.

On this day we suggest a very early wake-up to do an early morning game drive (when the animals are more active) and see one of the best sunrises you’ll ever witness. You will proceed with the afternoon and evening game drive before return to your beautifully camp for dinner and overnight. Lunch will be packed and served at the picnic site by your guide during the day.

After breakfast, you’ll head towards central Serengeti for further game drives. We are completely flexible with your preferences and this day will be organized according to your wishes. On every day of the safari, your guide will discuss with you the best timings for you, including the game drives and the wake-up time. Upon arrival in the central Serengeti, proceed with the afternoon and evening gam,e drive later proceed to your lovely camp for hot dinner and overnight.

Today will be “Serengeti Game Viewing Day”. The vast diversity of Serengeti fauna is obvious here. Look for buffalo, hippopotamus, elephants, giraffes, antelope, Thompson’s and Grant’s gazelles, as well as predators like lions, cheetahs, and leopards. You will explore and enjoy the lovely infinite plain of the Serengeti, which has a stunning environment unlike any other. Lunch will be given at the picnic location, followed by a delicious dinner at your lodgings.

Following a leisurely breakfast at the lodge, a final morning game viewing will be conducted to marvel at the natural beauty of the Serengeti. The concentration of wildlife in the Seronera region certainly paints a clear picture of why the Serengeti is a must-see destination when considering African travel.We eat our picnic lunch at the picnic area before continuing on with our game en route to our chosen lodging for leisure and overnight

After breakfast, you will wind your way toward Ngorongoro Crater, enjoying more wonderful sights on the way! After an entire afternoon inside the crater, you will drive to your accommodation in the park. The Ngorongoro Conservation Area will amaze you and we’ll offer you a walking safari for more adventure. Even more so when you arrive at the edge of the crater and take in the amazing view over one of the natural wonders of this world. Steep volcanic walls conceal Ngorongoro Crater, a pristine wilderness with sweeping savannah, acacia woodland pockets, glistening lakes, and swamps. The crater was created when a large volcano exploded and collapsed in on itself two to three million years ago. The drive down into the crater is an adventure in itself, and when you reach the crater floor, you will quickly find yourself amongst large numbers of wildebeest, zebra, gazelle, and more than 500 bird species. The crater provides you with the best chance of seeing the endangered black rhino, which can sometimes be spotted in the open grasslands.

After the crater tour ascend and drive back to your lodge in Arusha city or proceed to Kilimanjaro Airport for your departure flight.
